When I did it, I first unlinked my YouTube and Google accounts. If you don't have this option, then your YouTube account may have never been separate to begin with.

After unlinking, I was able to relink my YouTube account to my Google Apps address without issue. I did have to wait a day first, for the migration to complete, but then it worked. Now YouTube has a thing that says "this account is managed by ottodestruct.com" at the top of all my YouTube pages, showing me that it's on my Google Apps account.

If you can't unlink in the Manage Account page, then try just creating a new account using your Apps email address.

Another thing to consider is that you really had *two* google accounts before. The one that is now the gtemp thing is a separate Google account than your actual Google Apps account. But, Google has special settings in place to make it recognize your Google Apps email as the gtempaccount thing *if* the password fits. So what you want to do is to change the password for your actual Apps account to be different than the password for the fake account. With separate passwords, then it will know which you're trying to log into properly.

It is confusing, I grant you.

I can't get YouTube to accept any of my Google Apps email addresses. It was on a Google Apps email address to begin with. But now that I've upgraded Google Apps it won't let the account stay there. Nor it won't let me change it to another of my Google Apps email addresses either.

Basically I can either leave it as a temporary email address "@gtempaccount.com" or create yet another Gmail address just for that YouTube account. :(

Don’t use the multi-sign-in thing. It makes things really confusing.

I wish I would have read that before I enabled it. Even after I had to check that understood the warnings and would not be able to switch back. I use my regular Google accounts open id to log in to so many services and I am constantly having to log in and out of apps and my regular account. I'm going to try the transfer for Google Voice.
